Annual Fund
Through the UES Annual Fund, established in 1993, all current UES families are introduced to the role of private support at UES. An active Annual Fund Committee and network of Class Ambassadors seek 100 percent participation from all current families as well as alumni, friends and grandparents.
The UES Annual Fund plays a critical role in enabling UES to provide an outstanding education for all our students. The Annual Fund allows UES to:
- Balance our school's operating budget while stabilizing tuition,
- Provide tuition assistance so more families have equal access to our community,
- Maintain the diversity of our student body,
- Provide state of the art technology for our children's classrooms,
- Support teachers' salaries so we can recruit and maintain our first-class faculty,
- Underwrite the cost of field trips to broaden our children's educational and cultural experiences,
- Fund the music, art and physical education programs, and
- Support educational research by UES teachers and UCLA faculty that makes it possible for our children to enjoy the finest classroom curriculum and practices, but also helps educators and children elsewhere.
