Music at UES

UES students know how to make a joyful noise!

In our music room you will find us dancing, drumming, improvising, harmonizing & dramatizing to all kinds of music! Perhaps most of all, UES students love to sing!

On this page you will find some very special pieces of music from our 2007-2008 school year. (Download them to your computer or iPod and take UES music with you on the go!)

The first few songs commemorate special events from our school year. Twinkle/Estrellita was a beautiful number from our EC Holiday Sing in December. The 100th Day of School was a festive part of our EC level's 100th Day of School Math Celebrations and activities in March. And We Shall Overcome was recorded by Room 9 to celebrate the birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.

The remaining four songs were written by UES students ranging in age from 5 to 12!

Although these are not perfect "studio" recordings (far from it!) I hope they will allow you to keep a piece of UES with you!
